It may only be October, but the price war is already on for Christmas toys.
Consumer experts predict shoppers will spend less during the holidays so stores are doing what they can to get them to start buying now.
Both Target and Walmart stores have already slashed prices. Walmart is offering 100 toys for $10 each this year.
Industry experts say it is smart to start shopping early. The shelves are packed now. but with a projected slump in sales, stores won’t be able to promise they’ll have all items in stock.
Both Walmart and Target offer price matching if you have an ad from another store, but they warn to read the fine print. Both have restrictions to that deal.
